Safety First

Sorry it's sideways- I made this dress entirely out of the contents of an emergency kit and scotch tape.  It probably was one of the most challenging things I've made; the metallic blanket was such a pain to cut! The dress and belt are made out of the blanket, the poncho was revised (a lot), and the pouch pocket on the side of the belt is the emergency water. I must say, it is very uncomfortable to wear, but hey it is waterproof.

Tutus

This halloween at last minute, I decided to be a ballerina. I am putting this picture up because last minute I googled "how to make a tutu quick" and this amazing youtube video poped up on making a tutu really fast and easy. All it took was a few yards of tulle fabric, a ribbon, half an hour, and wa la an awsome tutu! Well I though it was pretty cool if you were looking to make a tutu. Hey, it would be a great, whimsical peice to anyone's closet. (:

Vintage

Today is a vintage day- vintage blouse, belt and scrunched men's Armani jeans. Vintage makes every outfit better in my opinion.

Ahhhh! The Bag Lady!!!!!!

A very quick post- I've been very busy with all of this doctor's crap. A very old picture of the bag dress my sister and I made a while back. Everything is mad entirely made out of old grocery bags! I do have to admit it's very uncomfortable to wear. Don't forget to remember the people who lost their lifes in 9/11!!!!! RIP!

Jeans for Your Wrists

My latest work. I love the fact I can wear jeans when it's hot out.

Wearing a vintage silk dress, antique belt I just recently got, and forever 21 shoes.

I love love love this belt! Over the past couple of months I've developed a belt craze, so you can imagine how I went a little nuts when I found it at a yard sale for $2. The engraving is so pretty- it has a little bit of a county boho look.
